Here’s what I’ve been reading lately…
- The Atlantic: When the Nerds Go Marching In – Fantastic profile by the Atlantic on the efforts of the Obama campaign to attract a top tech team, including my friend Harper Reed as CTO, to build a technology platform that gave them a significant advantage over the Romney Campaign.
- Christine Tsai: Why Startups Need Marketing – For your startup, having a great marketer on your team is so incredibly important. I’ve talked to too many companies who’ve been able to create something amazing but are completely incapable of telling their story and attracting the ideal audience.
- New York Times: A $1 Billion Start-Up Might Not Be So Fun – I can’t even imagine what it’s like for the Founders & CEO’s of these companies. Once you’ve set these kind of expectations for yourself, there’s no turning back.
- Alex Hillman: The three necessary ingredients for community. Do you have them? – Alex is one of the leading minds in the world of community building. If you’re fascinated in this space, as I am, I’d recommend subscribing to his blog.
Thanks dude.
