Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s F8 Keynote Video is Now Available Online

If you haven’t seen yet, Facebook has just posted the Mark Zuckerberg’s Keynote video from their F8 Facebook Platform launch event.

I’m impressed. He’s a pretty good speaker.

Some of the Web metrics that Mark announced are pretty unbelievable. It’s great they’ve been getting so much success.

I’m excited about the idea of using Facebook as a platform. I think a lot of existing applications will benefit from knowing who my friends are.

It does make me nervous to think that so much of my information will be stored in one place.

  1. I’m pretty skeptical about some of those stats. At the beginning he states that they restate data every 30 days. so they are only looking at 30 days worth of real data. It’s interesting though! Facebook a well rounded application it developed well.

  2. Zuckerberg is a buffoon. I cannot believe they let this kid go up in front of an audience and try to do a Steve Jobs impersonation. Just…yuck.

  3. Are you kidding me? This dude is the worst public speaker in the history of CEOs. He was more awkward than a 6th grade dance. I’d rather listen to Fran Drescher sing “Stairway to Heaven” at a New Jersey church lock-in.

And this Facebook platform is a joke. FQL? FBML? FBJS? All they’ve done is wrapped age old industry standards and gave them a new name. But hey, kudos to Mark Z. because he’s worth more than I can ever hope to be. Unless I can get my MOAP or MTML platforms off the ground.
